2019 is the 8th year crews of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race have supported childhood cancer research funded by The Kids’ Cancer Project.
Since 2011, Tony Kirby and the Patrice crew, supported by other yachts, have raised more than $200,000 to support childhood cancer research through The Kids’ Cancer Project.
The team from Wings is seeking to raise $75,000 as part of their participation in the 75th RSHYR.
Did you know:
• Childhood cancer kills more children in Australia than any other disease.
• Over 950 children are diagnosed each year with cancer with 150 of those dying.
• Treatments can be harsh on their little bodies with many suffering life long side effects
The Kid’s Cancer Project is committed to making a difference. Your donation will help fund vital research to help find a cure and kinder, more effective treatments for these children.
Please support Wings to raise funds during this year’s race by sponsoring their efforts on the ‘Give Now’ button on their Team page.
